Final JNL 221: Foundations of Data & Digital Journalism Project

For my JNL 221 final, I was expected to find government data on a topic and clean it up, looking for a story in the spreadsheet. I decided to research opioid overdoses in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. I then created two Datawrapper charts exhibiting my findings and wrote a story surrounding my visualizations. I published my story on a website that I coded myself using HTML and CSS, as embedded below.
