Our assignment was to profile someone related to our chosen beats for the semester, and my beat was Syracuse's local concert scene. I interviewed Oji Anderson, a drummer and student at Syracuse University.
The Unabomber Manifesto: An Ethical Case Study
This is my final project for my JNL 345: Business and Ethics of Journalism in a Changing World class. Our assignment was to choose an ethical dilemma that journalists have faced. I researched how The New York Times and The Washington Post decided whether to post Ted Kaczynski's manifesto. I researched the case and interviewed Ed Tobias, former Managing Editor at The Associated Press, and Len Downie Jr., former Executive Editor at The Washington Post. Finally, I took the interview recordings and stitched them together with my own research in Audition.
